I do apologize at the onset of this article for my absence for such a long time. there is no go excuse for it. Circumstances as they are in the country I get overwhelmed at what topics to even write about. I have so many things swirling through my mind that I can’t settle on one topic long enough to put out an article.
That being said, I wanted to touch on the subject of conservative third party politics. Everyone who is involved with any of these parties knows that there are many to be found. The reason for this is that conservatives are so idealistic that, when they don’t agree with something that is going on in whatever party they are associating with, they branch off and start their own party. This results in many parties with little influence.
I have put much thought into this over the last few years. As our numbers have dwindled with people breaking off and others aging out of association, it becomes difficult to rebuild. However, our party has been around for a long time. we are the only party with permanent principles that do not change. Our platform does morph over time as issues arise. However, they will never stray from our permanent principles.
Will anyone who chooses to associate with us agree with everything that the platform posits? No, they most assuredly will not. I do not even agree with everything 100%. Does that mean this is not where I belong? No, it does not. This is exactly where I belong! I would suggest that, if you can agree with 80% or more of whatever party you choose to associate with, that is a good place to be.
We need to bind our efforts to make a strong stand. We need people to come to us and unite.
